FACILITIES

With an objective of making the school a model one in all respects, it has an on-line performance reporting system for each student, through internet, enabling the parents / guardians of knowing the progress of their child sitting at home.

Further, a well qualified and efficient staff is supervised by a MANAGING COMMITTEE having persons with vast experience of educational administration and acumen.

M.A.F. Academy has evolved a system of holistic education based on the all-round development of the child. The education provided by M.A.F. Academy treats each child as am individual one and his/her latent potential harnessed and channelised properly.

Classroom work will be a part of education. In addition to pursuing intellectual advancement, there will be a “DO IT YOURSELF” spirit which will pervade the academic scenario with a judicious blend of artistic vibrancy, a desire to compete and excel in co-curricular activities, cultural events and sports, enabling the students to strike a balance and foster their all-round development.

COMPUTERS

In the initial stages, when attending the school seems to be a burden to the child, the computers turn learning into fun for the tiny tots. M.A.F. Academy has provision for computer aided learning from Nursery Class itself, to make the students aware of the latest technologies available.

Separate Computer Labs are provided for Junior and Senior classes. The computer labs have all the software required for academic purposes. Hardware and Software will continuously be upgraded to cope with the latest technology and trend.

Computer Labs have their own library with a good number of books, magazines, news letters & CDs and will be equipped with Multi Media and Internet facilities.

On the other hand for all science subjects and subjects involving practicals, well equipped laboratories and museums with specimen collections have been provided for the students. The students learn by doing themselves all the relevant experiments prescribed in course, to supplement their knowledge.

Health Care

Periodical medical check-ups are necessary for the child’s development. To ascertain proper growth and health of the students, a Medical Officer carries out these check-ups at regular intervals. First-aid facilities are always available to the students.

Library and Reading Room

The School has provision for two libraries one each for Junior and Senior sections. Books, magazines, journals, periodicals and news papers are available at appropriate levels to make reading fun. A spacious Reading Room is attached to the library where the students sit and utilize their vacant hours in reading, writing and research.

The class Time Table provides a library period to each class once a week. Students are also allowed to borrow books from the library. A trained and qualified librarian having B.Lib.Sc. Degree maintains the library.

Water And Power Supply

The School has pure drinking water for the children, duly tested and approved by the Health Department. It is also equipped with stand - by generators for uninterrupted power supply.

TRANSPORT

Transport facility on approved bus routes is available for the students. In each vehicle a teacher ensures the safe boarding and return of every student.
